Hi All! I am excited to share with you some NEW happenings at Heartbeats. First of all, I was fortunate enough to go to a conference for Center Directors in Colorado Springs in October. This conference was sponsored by Save the Storks (who we partnered with for our Mobile Medical Unit) and it was FREE – Storks donors took care of the costs – even better! The conference is entitled, “Flyway” and is based on the concept of birds flying south for the winter. “If you want to go FAST, go alone. If you want to go FAR, go together”. United, we can do so much for the Kingdom and for each other. I came away with so many free resources and tools that Storks had to mail everything to the center. In November, Holly and I taught a seminar on Social Media at our State Conference and in doing so we learned just as much as we taught! Below is a new video Holly created for sharing on FB and Instagram. Please take a look. In April we will be having our Annual Banquet, but it will look a little different than years past. With the release of the movie, Unplanned, we anticipate a huge crowd to see our Keynote Speaker, Abby Johnson, so our 2020 Banquet will be a ticketed event at the Citizens Center in Lincolnton. Please buy your ticket soon as this is expected to be a sellout. Lastly, our center is growing and with growth, comes change. Please be in prayer for us all as we navigate new paths, investigate bigger facilities, and prepare to assist even more individuals and families in the coming years. Crystal
